Baraye, Because
Sunday, March 12, 2023
10:30 am; live streamed from the Sanctuary
Darrah Bryans, Ministerial Intern, leading
Join us for our service this Sunday as we continue our exploration of March’s theme of “Good and Evil.” How do we make sense of evil in our world? Using the current revolution in Iran, we will explore ideas of repression, injustice, totalitarian governments, and our responses to them. How does our faith call us to respond and to act in the face of these kinds of evil?
The unofficial anthem of the uprising in Iran is Shervin Hajipour’s Baraye. If you’d like to hear this protest song before the service, please use this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8xXiqyfBg0
