Winter Holiday Gatherings and Services

Happy Holidays from First Parish!

All are welcome to celebrate the winter holiday season at First Parish in Needham!

We are a congregation of humanists, theists, atheists, agnostics, and interfaith families. As Unitarian Universalists, we honor the theological pluralism and diverse religious heritages present within our congregation. It is a blessing to, as we say in our congregational covenant, “gather as a diverse community to support each other in our search for spiritual truth.”

Our winter holiday gatherings, celebrations, and services are:

Sunday 11/30 at 10:30 am: Advent 1 with Sanctuary Boston (livestreamed from the Sanctuary)
Thursday 12/4 at 5:30 pm: Vespers celebrating Advent (Zoom only)
Sunday 12/7 at 10:30 am: Advent 2 & Bodhi Day (livestreamed from the Sanctuary)
Thursday 12/11 at 5:30 pm: Vespers celebrating the Solstice (Zoom only)
Saturday 12/13 at 5 pm: Holiday Family Fun Night (onsite only)
Sunday 12/14 at 10:30 am: Advent 3 & Hanukkah (livestreamed from the Sanctuary)
Thursday 12/18 at 5:30 pm: Vespers celebrating Hanukkah (Zoom only)
Saturday 12/20 at 3:00 pm: Boston Flute Academy Holiday (onsite only)
Sunday 12/21 at 10:30 am: Multifaith Holiday Pageant & Advent 4 (livestreamed from the Sanctuary)
Wednesday 12/24 at 10:30 am: Carols, Cocoa, & Coffee (livestreamed from the Parish Hall)
Wednesday 12/24 at 5:30 pm: Candlelit Christmas Eve (livestreamed from the Sanctuary)
Sunday 12/28 at 10:30 am: Big Ideas Breakfast (onsite only)

Sunday morning services are livestreamed and posted to our Sunday Service YouTube page, and the Zoom link for Thursday Vespers is available by subscribing to our e-newsletter, the Bell Notes.
