Recently, the Unitarian Universalist Association praised our two lay Unitarian Universalists serving in the federal House of Representatives. Though today we make up a small part of the federal legislature, Unitarian/Universalists have served as prominent elected officials throughout the history of the United States. How did we influence American politics, for good and for ill?
