Join us to meditate on the meaning of altruism, and what it looks like to risk our own wellbeing on behalf of others. On this International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we will gather to honor lives lost, and look back at the life of one little-known man who worked to evacuate thousands of Jews from German-occupied Europe. Even in humanity’s darkest days, there are those who act with courage and compassion on behalf of others, and they won’t be forgotten.Â
Join us this Sunday to consider the past, look to the future, and remember the life of Chiune Sempo Sugihara, one man who can teach us all something about altruism.Â

Children attend first 15 minutes of worship followed by Religious Exploration, downstairs.
Nursery care is available.
