UU Climate Justice Revival Worship Service

Through 2024 and early 2025, UU congregations across the country have been hosting UU Climate Justice Revivals to collectively reimagine a spirit-filled and liberatory future. Through conversations, worship, and advocacy, congregations are working together to realize climate justice and collective liberation in our communities. Many preachers submitted sermons for possible inclusion in these services. Special music was commissioned. Choirs sent in their best material. Stories were selected for use as the Time For All Ages component and finally a full service was assembled entitled “Reimagine Together from an Extractive Age to a New Era”.
This Sunday we will be airing this uplifting and transformative service in its entirety on our YouTube Channel. With inspiring music, a story read by UUA President Rev Sofia Betancourt and reflections from Rachel Myslivy, Rev. Arif Mamdani, and Rev. Omega Burckhardt this service will rekindle your fire of commitment to our basic principles. We will not be gathering in Parish Hall this Sunday to watch this service together but hope you will use our usual link to see it from the convenience of your own home (or wherever you may be on your summer vacation).
