The Strategic Task Force has completed the initial listening sessions. Through that process, more than 20 participants have expressed their feelings on the strengths, concerns, commitments and vision for First Parish. We have begun to see initial themes emerge, all coalescing around the need to re-generate energy and engagement in the community, with great ideas emerging on the path forward.
The process will continue with two more ways of gathering input. First, the Task Force will reach out to a few dozen individuals to request an interview, providing an opportunity for more in-depth discussion on our strengths, their concerns and our collective opportunities. These people will be selected based on our interest in getting as much diversity of perspective as possible. However, if you would like to be interviewed, please send a note to 5yearplan@uuneedham.org, as several people have already.
Secondly, we’ve developed a simple online form that can be filled in anonymously if desired (the name field is optional), which provides an alternative means to express your feelings in a completely private context. The form is available at this link and will remain available until April 26. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
