Reopening Task Force

by | Jan 30, 2022

As a result of the sharply dropping number of cases of Covid 19 in our community, the Reopening Task Force, using the algorithm developed at MIT, considers the risk acceptable to return to hybrid worship beginning February 6, 2022 in the Parish Hall.  It is highly recommended that you be fully vaccinated, and if eligible, have received a booster if you wish to attend in church.  If you plan to come to in-person worship, it is important that you feel completely well and have not been exposed to someone with Covid 19 within the previous 10 days.  Also, if you have recently had a Covid 19 infection, you should wait at least 10 days before attending worship services and preferably have a negative rapid antigen test.

It is no longer necessary to make a reservation to attend in person.  We do ask that you write your name on a list as you enter in case it is necessary to do contact tracing.  We also request that you refrain from singing along with the hymns but feel free to hum.

As before, high quality masks with proper fit are always required in the building.  The CDC is recommending N95 masks, or equivalent quality masks such as authentic KN95s and KF 94s.  If you do not have a good quality mask, we will provide a surgical mask.

Sara Elizabeth and Laura will communicate their plans to the youth and music groups, respectively.

We are looking forward to being back in the church again to worship together.
