Practicing Hope Together

We’re nearing the close of our month’s thematic journey of “Choosing Hope.” For our multigenerational Thanksgiving Sunday, we’ll “choose our own adventure” in all-ages small groups engaging in a “practice of hope,” as well as practice a hope-filled ritual as a whole congregation (including our folks participating online). Our assistant music director Chris Lockman will offer music. Please remember that while most of the worship staff team is “off” on Sunday November 30th, we look forward to hearing music and a homily from members of the Sanctuary Boston Band, including friend of the congregation Matt Meyer.

Choosing Hope Service Series

During our ministry theme month on “Choosing Hope,” services led by Rev. Catie will interconnect and interrelate. Here are the different aspects of Hope that the upcoming Sundays will address:

November 2: collective hopelessness and competing philosophies about hope

November 9: our faith tradition’s history as a “house for hope”

November 16: personal despair and resiliency

November 23: choosing hope congregationally
