Rev. Chris Holton Jablonski is a lifelong UU who grew up at the Framingham church. In his ministry he has served churches in Berkeley California and Portsmouth New Hampshire. He is very excited to be coming to lead worship at First Parish.Â
In his classic poem, Mad Farmer Liberation Front, curmudgeon and genius Wendell Berry tells us to “Invest in the millennium” and “Plant Sequoias.” The work of making justice, the work of building community is an honoring of our covenant with the generations who have come before and those who will follow. It is putting down the narrow, self centered focus of these days and living the truth which connects us across generations.Â
