On Sunday, February 9th at 9:15, Marguerite Robbins will host a Lane Lyceum entitled Narcissism and How To Recover From Exposure To It.
The word narcissism is frequently used these days. Where did it come from? What does it mean? How does its presence affect the human race? Who benefits from it? Who suffers from it? Can knowing more about it help the human race?
Our speaker, Marguerite Robbins, will offer her thoughts, and other experts’ thoughts, about these questions. She will also invite the audience attendees to share their thoughts and questions.
In 2019, Ms. Robbins authored a book about narcissism titled Memoir of a Narcissist’s Daughter. The book tells the story of a daughter’s recovery from the life-depleting effects of her mother’s narcissism. Ms. Robbins will read the Introduction to her book, and then take questions and comments about it from the audience.
At the end of the presentation, Ms. Robbins will provide copies of her book for those who want one.
