Phil Lynes speaking
Are you a Mary Oliver fan? Has your interest been piqued when you’ve heard a few of her poems quoted in the past? Oliver’s poetry won numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, The National Book Award and a Lannan Literary Award for lifetime achievement. She has been numbered among America’s finest poets. Unfortunately she died earlier this year so we are gathering to hold a tribute to her in our Sunday worship service August 11th. We will be reading from a variety of her works both prose and poetry. Come join us to hear more and dive deeper into the spiritual world to which Mary Oliver has opened our eyes, hearts and minds. She has left us a great legacy.
