Our modern world is overflowing with noisy distractions, especially in bustling cities and ‘burbs and anytime we’re connected to the World Wide Web (which with cell phones, is nearly always). How do we find enough quiet to listen for the call of our authentic selves (and perhaps even the Divine spark) within? Drawing from the richness of the world’s religious traditions, we’ll consider how we might ready ourselves through spiritual practice to listen for “still, small voice” in each of us. We’ll hear music from our wonderful music directors, Laura Nevitt and Chris Lockman, and we’ll have time to share joys and sorrows. This Sunday, our kids in religious exploration will start their third trimester programs.
