Sandra Batra: Preparing a Life Transition Binder
Are all your important details organized in one place so your family can easily access it if you were incapacitated? Sandra Batra, will outline the different categories of information that you can incorporate in your Life Transition Binder. The Binder can be a resource for you as you age and can provide your family with the details they need in the event of an emergency and when they need to settle your estate. Sandra Batra offers presentations and workshops on senior issues at area senior centers.
Ebba Legaspi: End of Life Doula
What does and end-of-life or “death” Doula do? Ebba Legaspi will share her insights and experience as an End-of Life Doula and explain the benefits both to the person dying and also to the family. She will describe the three-phase model of the dying process and the Doula approach and tools. Ebba Legaspi has worked in the Holistic Wellness industry since 2003 beginning as a fitness instructor teaching Pilates, Yoga, and Gyrotonic. She is certified in Thai Yoga Massage and Reiki and is a biofeedback practitioner. Ebba completed her End-of-Life Doula training with the International End-of-Life Doula Association and has been working with Brookhaven Hospice as a volunteer since then. She has a private practice as a doula serving Boston and surrounding areas.
