Award winning Alaska Native (Tlingit) singer/songwriter Kim Moberg is the daughter of a classical pianist mother and a US Coast Guard veteran father from Kansas. Music was the constant in Kim’s childhood.
Kim teamed with Grammy-nominated producer Jon Evans to record four albums. Her third release “The Seven Fires Prophecy Suite for Humanity” tells the ancient Anishinaabe prophecies in song. It ties Indigenous knowledge to the current social environment. Kim’s 4th album, “All That Really Matters”, was released in early 2025.
Kim has received numerous recognitions including 2021 Rocky Mountain Songwriting Contest Finalist, 2021 Great American Songwriting Contest Folk/Americana Finalist, 2020 CT Folk Grassy Hill Songwriting Competition Winner, and 2020 Corpus Christi Songwriters Spring Songwriters Contest 2nd Place. Kim has shared the stage with Jim Kweskin, Bill Staines, Ellis Paul, Joe Jencks, Vance Gilbert, Catie Curtis, Cheryl Wheeler, Alice Howe, Rod Abernethy, Grace Morrison, Rupert Wates, and Leslie Mendelson. Kim is a strong believer in the importance of giving back. She offers her music and time at events to support her local community. She is an inaugural member of the legendary Club Passim’s THE FOLK COLLECTIVE.
“Moberg’s vocals have this intensity that is endlessly compelling. As she sings, you’re
almost commanded to listen.” -If Its Too Loud, Music Blog
Susan Cattaneo is one of Boston’s most respected singer-songwriters, blending rock and folk with a healthy dose of country. Susan’s latest album, “All is Quiet” is an acoustic tour de force recorded remotely during the pandemic with acclaimed guitarists Duke Levine and Kevin Barry. The album charted #2 and was a top 25 Album of 2022 on the FAI Folk Radio chart. Her 2016 double album “The Hammer and The Heart” charted #1 on the Billboard
Heatseekers chart and yielded a folk radio #1 single and top 10 album.
“Cattaneo’s solo songs have roots that run deep under the earth from Memphis to Nashville to Appalachia (pick a random song from her catalog and odds are it would be an ideal cover for Bonnie Raitt or Carrie Underwood or Steve Earle).” – Jed Gottlieb, The Boston Herald
