12:30 pm (after Zoom social hour)
Rev. Dr. Norbert F. Capek, founder of the Unitarian Church in Prague began the Flower Communion Service in 1923 to unite his religiously diverse congregation. Martyred in World War II, the service is now celebrated in most UU congregations; flowers symbolize the uniqueness of each individual and the beauty of our community together. Please bring flowers for your family and a few extra for guests. The congregation will gather on the First Parish lawn at Lincoln St and Dedham Ave, rain or shine. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of all. Please email Rev. Catie (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
