Our Summer Minister for Pastoral Care, Rev. Joanna Lubkin, leads a service on a theological endorsement of body positivity and body liberation: that every body is a good body, and every body is beautiful. This service will be live in-person in Parish Hall and live streamed to YouTube with both an in-person social hour and a virtual one held on Zoom.
Rev. Jo is wrapping up her time as the interim minister at Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury and will begin serving as the Acting Minister for Faith Formation and Congregational Life at the UU Area Church of Sherborn next month. She is the Worship Arts Lead at The Sanctuary Boston, a member of Arlington Street Church and Temple Beth Zion, and is delighted to be back with First Parish for another summer. Rev. Jo lives in Jamaica Plain with her service dog, Sully.
