Announcing Temporary Communications Coordinator

The Parish Committee and Rev. Catie are excited to share that our long-time member Jackie Boni has agreed to act as First Parish’s temporary quarter-time (10 hrs/week) Communications Coordinator, from now until June 2025. Jackie will be responsible for the Bell Notes, Social Media, advertising materials, and website updates. Her hire gives the church’s leadership time for reflection and reconfiguration, if needed, of the Engagement Coordinator position, without rushing a new hire or putting the entire burden of our communications infrastructure back on a group of volunteers.

Jackie Boni has been attending First Parish with her family since 2004. She lives in Needham with her husband and 3 college aged kids (when they are home for breaks). She is thrilled to be able to help the congregation with communications.

Jackie will be training and partnering with volunteers and staff members over the next few weeks of communications work. We are grateful to First Parishioners like Leslie Nelken, Laurel Davis, and Will Rico for covering the Bell Notes and website updates in December, and for providing Jackie ongoing support.
