The end of white-collar employment, the creation of a new species, Intellectual Property theft on an entirely new scale, or the only thing keeping the US out of a recession. This final session focuses less on what AI is and more on something more traditional: power. Who is making AI (and why)? Who is regulating AI (and how)? Who will use AI (and for what)? Who will be used by AI?

Keller Scholl is a PhD Candidate at the RAND Graduate School in Arlington, Virginia. Primarily studying the economic impact of artificial intelligence and the future of institutions, Keller has also published on the safety of early childhood vaccines, human challenge trials, and public perceptions of artificial intelligence. He’s an author on the PEPFAR Report, When AI Builds AI, and a forthcoming dissertation on labor economics and artificial intelligence.
