Come honor the autumnal equinox and join in the international “Sun Day” celebration! With leadership from our Green Congregation team and inspiration from climate activists local and worldwide, First Parish proudly participates in SunDay.Earth to acknowledge and encourage the urgent and necessary transition to renewable energy sources. Our Green Congregation Committee will honor First Parishioners’ collective and individual environmental practices both during our Sunday service and social hour. We’ll wonder and imagine together what a sustainable future and livable world could look like. Our First Parish Choir and our music directors, Laura Nevitt and Chris Lockman, will offer and lead songs of praise and commitment to the Earth. And, we’re also excited for our kids and preteens to gather with their trimester 1 teachers for their first Sunday of age-specific classes.
