Looking for social action ideas for how to slow the Trump agenda?

Take a look at Robert Reich’s “The First 100 Day Resistance Agenda” and note any items in his list of 13 possibilities where you and/or other church members might get active. Note the opening paragraph—it is short but devastating. Then read the items Reich suggests and underline the suggestions you might be able to do. Students: think about any themes on which you might do a research paper that would fit the agenda. One item, for example, is to Boycott goods that President-elect Trump markets. Note there are links to click on that tell you what those are—so stay online as you read. Many of you will be marching and demonstrating, which is on the list, so you can check that one off. Think about writing a letter to the editor or an op-ed on a theme that has you upset. One of mine is to stop Betsy DeVos from privatizing public schools. What a way that is to undermine democracy!
